The University of Hawaii is soon to select its 16th President as David Lassner, who has led the campus for over 10 years, is retiring. Last week the State of Hawaii was told who the candidates are to replace Dr. Lassner.
However, take away the age number and place each into their generational category, and you will find something very interesting going on, with the result being whether this country will continue to be run by a member of the Silent Generation or return to a pattern of being run by Baby Boomers for probably one last time.
So, one way or the other, depending on who is elected, we will have [a Hawaii] Lt. Governor a person from the X-Generation, and, potentially both Governor/Lt. Governor also.
