As Election Day approaches, a new mindset emerges across the country—one of readiness overreaction. As the first wave of fundraising passes, signs promoting candidates are popping up all over the state, prompting us to check the status of the candidates who have pulled papers or filed for office, as of mid-April 2024
At a time when bigger names in the conservative movement were also running for office – more specifically Orson Swindle who was running for Congress – Sam didn’t feel so out of place, and in fact, almost felt that a Caucasian running for the Legislature in Hawai‘i Kai was not much out of the ordinary.
Even with so few debates between the two candidates (and in the case of the KHON debate, a discussion with the running mates for each ticket), there are several observations that this pundit can make on the results. Allow this humble blogger to provide those for your review.
